Quirky and historic
Stayed for one night at the Ca Sa Padrina and it is definately unusual. The hotel is located superbly being only a short walk from Placa d’Espana where the train to/from Soller, the airport shuttle and the buses are located. We entered the hotel with no problems armed with our instructions but it seemed a little strange checking in using the various forms and faxing. However, everything seemed very well organised. When we entered our room (using a key as the security pad was not working), we were surprised to find a set of stone steps leading up from the room. When investigating further, a door opened to a small roof top terrace complete with sun loungers and table and chairs and proved to be an excellent place to relax after a tiring afternoon exploring Palma. Yes, I would recommend staying here but be aware that it is somewhere a little different.
